Hi, I’m DR. CATHERINE PHILEMON, founder of Lotus Voyage Therapy.

Diversity and inclusion are very important to me and my practice. I prioritize and continue to obtain cultural awareness, knowledge, and skills through the use of Culturally Adapted Interventions. My previous experience includes working with older and younger adults, adolescents, college students, families and couples.

Here at Lotus Voyage we want to help you work on your healing process by addressing deeper rooted psychological traumas while helping you feel empowered. Specializing in treating anxiety, depressive disorders, and other mental health concerns. We have worked with populations dealing with a variety of life stressors such as difficulties with adjustments, grief, intimacy, interpersonal relationships, career changes, personal growth, and self-esteem. We utilize a variety of modalities through an integrative approach, which will depend on your presenting problem.

 

Our APPROACH TO THERAPY

At Lotus Voyage Therapy, we utilize a variety of modalities through an integrative approach, which will depend on your presenting problem. This includes (but not limited to) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution- Focused therapy, Mindfulness and Positive Psychology, as well as Person-Centered Therapy. We take a very collaborative approach with our patients and will always encourage you to be honest throughout the treatment process.
